Nataly Gruender

Nataly Gruender joined Trellis Literary Management as the Operations Manager in July 2026. She has a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and began her publishing career by making the long move to New York after completing the Columbia Publishing Course in 2021, starting out as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble. Nataly then worked at the Dystel, Goderich & Bourret agency for four years in the financials department, gaining invaluable experience on the inner workings of a literary agency, and was promoted to Financials Director in 2024.

Nataly will not be taking on clients, but she thoroughly enjoys all things queer fantasy, sci-fi, and romance. An author herself, Nataly also loves mythological retellings and stories that reimagine women who were vilified in their classic tales. Some of her favorite authors include Madeline Miller, Natasha Pulley, Hannah Kaner, and Martha Wells.
