Tori Clayton

Tori Clayton joined Trellis Literary Management as Subsidiary Rights & Operations Associate in January 2024. She assists Allison Malecha with foreign book deals, international book fair preparation, and all other things foreign rights.

Tori is a graduate of Smith College with a degree in English and Music. After making the big move to NYC from Portland, Maine, she completed several writing and publishing internships, and spent four years gaining valuable experience at the Jane Rotrosen Agency in the subsidiary rights department. Tori is not taking on clients, but she is most drawn to a good horror romance or other unexpected genre crossover, literary fiction, and YA fiction. Her favorite authors include Gail Honeyman, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Jane Austen.
